“Tim Brown is deserving of the prestige and respect of this high honor,” says a spokesperson from YOR Health.
Tim Brown’s determination to excel as an athlete was evident from high school, reports YOR Health. The man who would become known as “Mr. Raider” was originally forbidden from the sport by his more musically inclined mother. However, Brown pressed on and by his junior year had recruiters vying for his talents. According to the team at YOR Health, Brown chose the University of Notre Dame where he quickly outshined his teammates with an impressive school record of 5,024 all-purpose yards, gaining the attention of the National Football League.
In 1988, Tim Brown was quickly selected by the Los Angeles Raiders where he set records and cemented his place in football history, according to YOR Health. After 17 years in the NFL, the Heisman Trophy winner joined the YOR Health Athletic Advisory Board as Chief Athletic Advisor.
